Now more than ever, kitchens are the heart of the home, so it’s no surprise they’re getting all the attention. Give yours a look that’s full of detail and personality with these three kitchen trends.
Kitchen Trend #1: Beautifully Bold Hues
We’re not saying goodbye to neutrals, but we’re starting to trend away from the clean, all-white kitchens we’ve come to know. “White and gray are still super important, but there’s a major warming trend as we’re seeking color and comfort in the kitchen,” says Director of Color Marketing, Sue Wadden.
Which hues will be satisfying our appetite for color? Dusty blues like Downing Slate and botanical greens like Pewter Green. These shades are quickly becoming the go-to color for cabinets and walls because of their unique ability to make a space feel bold and comforting at the same time.
Kitchen Trend #2: Statement-Making Designs
As colors get bolder in 2020, so does design. Tuxedo Kitchens are having a visually striking moment that’s ready for personalization. While the name might lead you to believe these spaces are black and white, they can feature any combination of light and dark colors. It’s really about creating that two-toned contrast that mimics a tuxedo. “This kitchen trend is a great way to give cabinets or islands a signature look,” suggests Wadden.
Kitchen Trend #3: Accessorizing with Style
What gives kitchens their cabinets-to-counter style? After color, it’s all about detail, so we reached out to our partners at Rejuvenation for some tips. “Lighting and hardware are the finishing touches you and your guests will notice the second you walk into the room,” says Kalie Eyman, Senior Writer at Rejuvenation.
Whether it’s oversized pulls or statement faucets, kitchen hardware with visual weight is gaining popularity. When it comes to finishes, aged brass and oil-rubbed bronze are the trending choices. These rich tones have a versatile look that pops beautifully against a wide variety of cabinet colors.
Another trend Rejuvenation shared focuses on an unexpected way to light up the kitchen. “We’re starting to see small-scale table lamps, like our Audrey Accent Lamp or Berkshire Table Lamp, used in the kitchen,” says Eyman. “We love how they make a space less utilitarian and more like the center of your home.”
I love this trending direction for the home! Beautiful colors give a boost to the ordinary & expected “sameness” of the past. My mind is twirling with thoughts for incorporating these ideas, & I am heading to my lifelong paint store, Sherwin Williams, as soon as
possible. Exciting!
I love the new trends! We got a kick out of this because we have Pure White on top and Salty Dog on the bottom cabinets. Our walls are all Alpaca! Sherwin Williams is always our choice! We also have some feature walls with Urbane Bronze (hint, it is amazing next to Alpaca!)
Sounds beautiful, Llisa! Be sure to use the hashtag #SWColorLove if you post your projects on social media. We would love to see!
My kitchen walls are painted Agreeable Gray and my trim is Pure White, the tile is old and is a pale pink/cream color. Trying to decide on cabinet color and was reaching for Stamped Concrete (lightened 30%, and island at full color) then either Grays Harbor or Homburg Gray for the laundry room (it peeks through kitchen). Was wondering if you had advice on what direction to move towards!
also, the counter tops are a Formica and they have brown/grey veins.
These trends are great love them. However my kitchen is painted in an olive green colour & the cupboards are painted in the China Doll colour which is like a cream. What other colour can I use on the cupboard to make the kitchen pop more
Hi Helena! What other colors are in the kitchen as far as flooring, countertop, back splash and appliances? Would you be open to painting your cabinets two colors?
I am open to changing the bottom cupboards. Am not afraid of colour. The floor tiles is light brown the counter top light cream to compliment the China Doll colour & the wall tiles have cream, grey & green all on the lighter side
Consider painting the upper cabinets China Doll and then select one of the saturated greens below for your lower cabinets. Look at:
Avocado SW 2861
Basque Green SW 6426
Sage Green Light SW 2851
Saguaro SW 6419
Helena,
Could you please post a picture?
Thanks,
Could I use the darker “downing slate” (sw2819) for painting cabinets and leave island painted white? Walls are a a neutral tan/sand color and granite is light gray w dark specs.
Hello Adam, if you leave the island white, it may be too much of a disconnect to the other colors and finishes in your kitchen. Consider painting your island a warm neutral like Neutral Ground SW 7568 or Stucco SW 7569. Either of these warm neutrals would complement Downing Slate beautifully.
I luv your paint color newsletters!
But it would help to see colors mentioned in the text. For example, today’s TINTED blog mentions Downing Slate and Pewter Green, but only Downing Slate is shown. Sure I can stop by the Sherwin-Williams store but would like to see Pewter Green while reading the blog. . .and before I forget the name!!
Thank you, Barb! Great feedback. We truly appreciate it.
Love the 2 tone cabinets. Would you do the wall to ceiling pantry the darker colour or keep it with the lighter colour? Island and lower cabinets done in dark colour uppers done in light colour. Not sure to do pantry in light or dark? Kitchen is U shape with pantry on one side.
Hi Irene! Consider painting the pantry in the darker color – it will make it feel like a piece of furniture in the room.
I have two tones cabinets today in a house built around 1900. An out of date pinkish pickle on top cabinets with glass doors and a slate black on the bottom. I have to replace a stand alone cabinet and was thinking an old china hutch or other piece of furniture to retro fit. What color would I paint it? Should I paint the upper cabinets to match? Walls terra-cotta stucco, granite primarily brown and orange, a small red chimney in middle of a solid wall and honey hardwood floors with warm white trim.
Hi Maryanne! Are you looking for new colors for uppers and lowers? Also, are you asking if stand-alone cabinet or old china hutch should go in kitchen? And, what color should those built in pieces be?
I love Alpaca it is a great neutral that really goes well with browns/grays. We have been using in our rental properties.
Want to do the two tones cabinets and love the Alpaca for top and Salty Dog for bottom. Would it be too much to stain my island because I do like the look of some wood? Do people do three different tones for cabinets?
Alpaca and Salty Dog are a stunning combination; if you introduce a third color, your kitchen could become “busy” looking which will make the space feel smaller and disjointed. Is it possible to paint the island Salty Dog and use a butcher block countertop just on the island? This will introduce the wood you want in your space. Keep your cabinets palette to two colors to create a cohesive and intentional palette.
I have ugly orange terracotta flooring in kitchen and dining room
I have a small like south facing farmhouse like kitchen with ugly white shaker cabinets
And my dining area is small but painted sw origami white walls. I’m going with a 1950s diner theme in both what shade / name of green or blue would you recommend for my kitchen walls? Please help I been looking for months .
Hi Jamie, Any of the blues listed below would look great with your terra cotta flooring. Check out:
Powder Blue SW 2863
Baby Blue Eyes SW 9070
Bluesy Note SW 9064
What is the best way to paint kitchen cabinets?
Also will they chip?
Thanks!!
Hi Linda! Are the cabinets bare, previously painted or have current clear finish on them? We typically recommend a bonding primer for previously coated cabinets. We offer Extreme Bond Primer and then recommend Emerald Urethane Trim Enamel
Thank you!
The cabinets are about 10 years old with a dark brown stain on them. The floors are hardwood with a slight reddish tone. Do you recommend spraying them?
Also color suggestions.
In a smaller U-shaped kitchen area is it best to keep lower and upper cabinets the same colour? Also we have grey-blue tiled floors, with maple-finished cabinets at present. And warm wood floors beyond the kitchen. What would work best on the cabinets for colour?
Hi Catherine, it is not necessary to do the same color, in fact, doing two colors will allow for some dramatic color in your kitchen. Consider using a gray-blue paint color that is close to the color of your floors and then a soft white on the upper cabinets and the walls. We don’t have a visual of your floors, but look at these options:
Uppers cabinets and Walls
White Duck SW 7010
Whitetail SW 7103
Lower Cabinets
African Gray SW 9162
Dustblu SW 9161
I’m remodeling my kitchen, dining room and family room. Painters just finished painting the cabinets and trim with snowbound. Also used salty dog in island. I’ve had recommendations to paint the walls snowbound or alabaster. Would love to hear your suggestion.
Hi Lynn! We recommend you paint your walls Snowbound – especially in your kitchen. Painting the cabinets, especially the upper cabinets, the same color as the wall, your kitchen will look brighter and bigger. Keep the Snowbound going in the other rooms in your home – this will create a cohesive palette. Let us know if you have any other questions. Thanks again.
Our house (and all of our rentals/Airbnb’s) is “Natural Choice” everything, which allows our varied art pieces and such to really pop—but we need a kitchen cabinet makeover. They are currently an antiqued, heavily glazed off-white/ecru, but I’m ready to go green! We have wood-stained shiplap as our backsplash and heavily mottled quartz countertops (not the less-veiny marble look—more ecru with black and grey). Our floor is brick pavers that lean yellow, apricot, and darks—but to me are neutral. ) I’ve played with alllll the SW greens, and I feel like I’m down to Espalier and Derbyshire. Thoughts?
Hi Carolyn! Either of those greens would look great on the cabinets in the kitchen you described. Between the two, Espalier SW 6734 is the better choice because that shade of green reads as more sophisticated and subtle. Your cabinets will look stunning and your kitchen will have your unique stamp on it.
I just downsized and moved into a townhouse and have many questions but will start with this one. The back faces north and therefore, I would like to paint a warm colour to bring a warm feeling into this room. There is a floor to ceiling fireplace with various warm colours and the floor is dark wood. The ceiling is slanted and high and a loft overlooks this room. It would probably mean that the loft, family room, and kitchen have the same paint colour as the walls continue into each area so I wish to use a colour that will be pleasant in all areas. Most of these areas have neutral furnishings. I would love to hear your advice as to colour that would best enhance this room. I have photos but I’m not sure how to include them.
Thanks for any help

Hello,
I need help tying rooms together!! The family room walls are painted shiitake and the bookcases and fireplace surround is painted pewter green. This room has maple trim and wood floors. I love the way this room looks!! Now I’m trying to coordinate and tie in the rest of the main floor. The hallway leading out of the family room has slate floor, white trim, and is painted samovar silver. The hallway connects to the upstairs, living room, kitchen, and family room. The living room is also white trim and samovar silver. I loved the samovar silver color on the swatch, but after the painters were done I had regrets.. feeling it was more blue looking on the walls. Oops I’m committed for now! My husband would kill me if I had the painters repaint.
The walls between the living, dining, and kitchen were removed and it is now open. We are in the middle of renovating the kitchen and dining room. I need recommendations for paint color for dining room/ kitchen walls and cabinets. The floors have not been refinished in the kitchen or dining room. I’m having a tough time deciding because of the slate in the hallway. I love the character of the slate, but they only used it in the hallway so it seems choppy to me since it doesn’t flow elsewhere. I haven’t found flooring to help with the transition.
Other colors on the main floor include an office painted agreeable gray with maple trim.
Upstairs colors include: bedroom 1 city loft with pure white trim, bedroom 2 mindful gray with accent wall paint in salty dog maple trim, bedroom 3 sea sat with maple trim, bedroom 4 alabaster with maple trim.
Please help me tie all this all together!

A couple of months ago, I painted the two exterior doors on my grey cinder block building “snowbound” with the urethane enamel paint, and I’m crazy about that color now. I’ve seen Snowbound described as a cool color, even a grey-white, but I certainly don’t see grey at all, and it’s a gorgeous white in my opinion. That being said, I’m considering painting my north-facing kitchen walls “toasted pine nut” and the cabinets “dover white,” which are both certainly warm colors, but when I looked up the color toasted pine nut, snowbound was listed as a coordinating color along with dover white. Do you advise using dover white and snowbound in the same room; for example, having dover white cabinets and a snowbound door? Thanks for your help.
Totally rehauling our 1979 kitchen. We’re installing medium brown wood-look tile in our kitchen and silver pearl granite leather countertops. Really want my new shaker style cabinets to sport that lighter upper cabinets and medium to dark lower cabinets. We’ll have stainless appliances and cook top. Our kitchen is on the small side in an U shape. Sink and stove top are part of the U. On the opposite wall is the wall oven, reach in pantry and side by side refrigerator. Taking out the soffit and taking the cabinets to the ceiling. With glass on the top part of the upper cabinets to allow for some “airy ness”. There is a high bar on the other side of the refrigerator. The high bar has a pass through to the living room. Across from the high bar and adjacent to the back side of the stove top is the “breakfast” nook. The whole kitchen / dining area is about 12 x 21. Hope you can envision and offer some color suggestions.

I want to do something with my kitchen… I’ve got oak finished cabinets, a wood floor that is slightly darker than the cabinets and the counters are nice looking, but probably from the early 2000s, a dark green with grey flecks in it. I don’t want to replace anything, so I need to get a color idea to blend with the countertop. I am not into black or grey though.

Hi There,
Curious to get some thoughts and expert feedback. We are looking to paint our kitchen cabinets and was wondering thoughts on Alpaca for the top and bottom cabinets with Attitude Gray for the Island. The challenge I have is we have Brazilian Cherry Floors and struggling to find a good color for the cabinets that mixes well with the floors. Today the cabinets are what I think is a Walnut stain. Additional considerations are white marble like quartz counters, light gray walls, and a cream baseboard/trim.
My kids tell me I have no style, so hoping to get some help!
Hi Carl! Well, tell your children they are wrong – anyone interested in mixing up a palette has lots of style. We like your combo and it is a great way to unify the different wood tones in your kitchen. We do have a suggestion though. Consider painting the island and lower cabinets Attitude Gray SW 7060 (one of my favorite colors); then paint the upper cabinets and kitchen walls Alpaca SW 7022. When you paint your upper cabinets the same color as your walls, your kitchen looks bigger, brighter and more cohesive. Don’t be afraid to put Attitude on your lower cabinets. It is a darker shade but by placing it on all the lower cabinets, you are introducing some color and drama without overwhelming the room.
I painted my cabinets Dover White, walls are Repose Grey, and island Gauntlet Grey. I have subway glass tile for my backsplash that is a warm greige, looks like a Comfort Gray. The counters are creamy white with taupey veins. I want change the color of my bottom cabinets and island to a blue. Salty Dog is too bright blue and Downing Slate may be too grey. The room is Southern facing, what colors would you recommend?
Hi Jeanette, take a look at either Charcoal Blue SW 2739 or Mineral Gray SW 2740. These two blues have a subtle gray undertone that would look great with your Dover cabinetry and Repose walls.
Hi! Looking for some advice. I recently painted my kitchen cabinets (top row in Alabaster and bottom using Pewter green). My counters are dark granite with hints of green. Kitchen walls haven’t yet been painted and are a light beige which I’m not a fan of. Any suggestions for wall color? Should I also paint them with the Alabaster for a nice bright kitchen? TIA!
Hello Marissa, yes you read our mind – paint your walls Alabaster SW 7008– the same color as your upper cabinets. When you do this, your kitchen will be bigger, brighter and have a more cohesive palette. It also allows Pewter Green SW 6208 to become center stage in your room.
Hi. I’m looking for advice. I just had my kitchen cabinets painted with Storm Cloud, which I now see is very close to Downing Slate. Its a beautiful color but I have warm terracotta chairs in the kitchen so now wondering on colors for the walls and backsplash. Any suggestions? Eventually I want to replace the ceramic tile floors also. Trying to get out of my comfort zone but wondering if the blueish cabinets with orange chairs is a bit much and I probably dont want to add much more color. Thanks for any suggestions.
Hello, orange and blue look great together – they are opposites on the color wheel and complement each other beautifully. We think you are on the right track though by choosing a calmer color for the walls. Look at Neutral Ground SW 7568 or Stucco SW 7569 for a warm neutral that will unify the different finishes in your kitchen.
We are looking to paint our home with Snowbound on walls and Extra white for trims. We are going for two tone kitchen cabinets and for island and down cabinets we are thinking of Downing slate and upper cabinets pure white. Is Downing slate a good choice for Solano Bella quartz countertop.Thanks.
Hi Priya! Yes, SW 2819 Downing Slate is a saturated blue-gray and will look great next to your quartz. You may want to consider a different choice for your upper cabinets – either SW 7006 Extra White or SW 7004 Snowbound – in place of SW 7005 Pure White. SW 7006 Extra White would be a good choice as that is your trim color and can be used on your cabinetry as well. SW 7004 Snowbound would work as well because when you paint your upper cabinets AND the wall the same color, your kitchen will look bigger with a more cohesive palette.
I’ve tried in vain to pick a tinted lacquer color for our kitchen cabinets. While your color charts provide some lovely colors, my S-W store is unable to mix lacquer in a color that comes even close to the color samples. I’ve bought three gallons in three different colors and none of them was even close to the samples.
I like Sherwin-Williams and my local store a lot. But I am beyond dismayed at the time, trouble and cost this has taken, and we are no closer to a solution than before. May I suggest that there is a systemic problem in how your local stores are instructed to tint lacquer?
Hi Caine! We do not tint or sell lacquers at our SW paint stores. Which product are you looking to use?
I.would like.to.see.the rep!y to Celia Turner,’s question from December of 2020. Her issues seem to be the same as mine but there was no response. Could you help her and me?
Hi Janice/Celia! Sorry about that, we’re not sure why there was no reply attached. The greige palette (agreeable & stamped concrete) will look great on your cabinets, those colors will look beautiful next to your countertop. Consider sticking with Homburg Gray SW 7622 for your laundry room. The subtle green/aqua undertone in Homburg Gray would be a much better complement to the greiges in your kitchen. It is always best to look at color in your lighting.
I am currently working on new flooring and painting my trim and cupboards. Is there someone that could help me with colors please?
Thanks!
Hi Lori! Tell us more about your project. We are happy to help make color suggestions.
Hi, I am looking for advice. We are putting in new flooring which is a mix of gray and brown. We have agreeable gray in our living room. I would like the trim to be marshmallow. I would like the cupboards something very light but with a little dimension for the kitchen. What would be a good color for the walls and cupboards? I am also looking to paint the backside of the bar some type of gray. Thoughts??

Hello, I am looking for an advice. We just finished painting our walls with Alpaca. We will be changing our countertops to Quartz White, flooring is brown tone. What are suitable cabinets to go with Alpaca walls? Thanks.
Hello Anitha, I would wait until you choose your countertop and then use a clean white for your cabinets for a soft, sophisticated palette. Your countertop manufacturer should be able to provide you with a sample, after you get that sample, go to your local SW store, and get 6-8 chips each of the following whites: Pure White SW 7005, Extra White SW 7006, & Origami White SW 7637. It is always best to look at color in your lighting. Order some free sample chips from our website to determine which color will work best for you.
Hi! We are remodeling our kitchen. We have selected Ice Cube for the walls, Pure White for the uppers and vent hood, and a stain for the lowers and island. However, I really like Windy Blue or Daphne for the lowers and island instead. Advice?
Hi Connie, both of those colors are beautiful so if you want to use them and have them match the paint chip, we suggest you use paint and not stain. SW can put any of our colors in a solid stain only and stain is a permeating product, which means the color is not known until it has been fully absorbed – usually about 24 hours. As the paint dries and is absorbed, it pulls color from your wood so there is no way to predict what your color will look like. However, if you use paint, which is a coating, your color will always match the paint chip.
I am planning to remodel my kitchen interested only in resurfacing the cabinet colors, My new counter top will be Calcutta quartz(white), Walls painted Stucco (SW 7569)
Floor are existing Travertine (same a wall color).
what will be good combination if i want to go for 2 colors, I am thinking of one of the 3 ( Homburg Grey/downing slate/gauntlet grey) and center island Arcade white.
will this combination look good or do you have any other proposal.
Hi Sri,we suggest you stick with two colors to keep your palette cohesive. Are you open to two different colors on cabinets though? Consider the darker tone on the lowers and island then use the wall color, SW 7569 Stucco, on the upper cabinets. Painting the walls AND uppers the same color will make your kitchen feel bigger and brighter and allow the darker color to take center stage. Can you tell us the colors in your flooring and trim? That would help us in suggesting a color for the lower cabinets.
Painting exterior of small one room MCM beach cabin a creamy white with black accents and warm tone wood deck, soffits, ceiling inside. Lots of front windows getting west facing sun, and back wall is primarily kitchen with pewter green lowers and white/black starburst tile to ceiling with open wood shelves and butcher block counters. Want exterior creamy enough, but not so much that it clashes with white white tile. Is Dover white fit the bill on creaminess? Will Greenblack or Tricorn fade blue or green in sun, salt air? Any suggestion for front door and back wall with tile?

Very advise you to go to an internet site that provides extensive info on the topic pursuits
you.
Is there a special type of paint for the kitchen cabinet, or it’s the same one you use for the wall? Brushes or tools you can recommend?
For cabinet paint we recommend using an enamel such as Emerald Urethane because it will hold up better to traffic and dishes. It will have a harder finish causing it to be more durable. Wall paint is too soft and will chip easier when cabinets are opened or something scratches up against them. We recommend a fine roller such as a 3/8 nap foam roller for the smoothest finish. A Purdy Clear Cut brush would work well for cabinets. If you would like additional recommendations, your local store will be able to provide them as well when you stop in.
I have black soapstone counters with copper counter on island. The base on cabinets and island are a blue similar to salty dog. Floors are white. Kitchen doors (3)are also the blue? Love your Alpaca, Salty Dog and Pure White. Would the Alpaca or Pure white work on upper cabinets with Salty Dog on lower and Island? Worried about black countertops. What about doors and trim
Hello Karla, SW 7005 Pure White would be the best choice, consider painting your doors and trim Pure White as well. All the trim and cabinetry should be the same color. Let me know if you need anything else and thanks again.
I have Nora blue floor tiles with two tone green color accent spots, so we went with mahogany and austere gray cabinets SW 6184 for island, wall oven and cooktop. Do you have any color recommendations for the walls, backsplash and countertops?

2020????? How about an update or removing this completely?
I am getting the coconut color in kitchen cabinets at Lowe’s Diamond brand. I tried to find a sample chip of coconut and notice it is not on the website. Is it discontinued? I am interested in a shade or 2 darker for the walls. Thank you
Hi, is this the color you are looking for? https://www.lowes.com/pd/HGTV-HOME-by-Sherwin-Williams-Showcase-Coconut-Milk-Semi-gloss-Acrylic-Interior-Paint-Actual-Net-Contents-620-0/5001354903
Hi, I am looking for a wall paint to go with Kraftmaid moonshine cabinets and midnight blue island for my kitchen.
What color is your flooring and countertop?
Hi There. Can you provide input. I was thinking greek isle for walls and also for kitchen cabinets (is this ok to do both the same?) and I am trying to decide on a color for my blue island. Thoughts on salty dog or in the navy? Or is there another color you suggest? I have gold hardware in the kitchen and doing a white macaubas quartzite counter top. Thank you!
Hi there! Did you mean Greek Isle (as originally stated in your question) or Greek Villa? Greek Isle SW 2390 is a saturated teal while Greek Villa SW 7551 is a soft white with a drop of yellow in it. Let us know which color you wanted when you get a minute and thanks again.
Hello. Looking to pick out a color for my island. The other cabinets are white and the walls are SW #6247 Krypton. Looking for something in the blue family to complement our coastal home. Hardware is going to be black (pulls).
Hello Marti, check out either Let it Rain SW 9152 or Storm Cloud SW 6249 for your island; either of these gray blues would complement all the different colors/finishes in your kitchen. It is always best to look at color in your lighting. Order some free sample chips from our website to determine which color will work best for you.
What color would work with a black backsplash and gray countertop?
Hello Jessica, are you painting kitchen walls and cabinets or just walls? Let us know when you get a minute and thanks again.
Hello,
I am trying to decide on a wall color for my family room and kitchen. i have white cabinets and white mica counter tops, ss appliances. It is an open kitchen onto the family room and dinette area. currtenly the walls are beige but a dark beige. We want to lighten it up. Was thinking Whitetail SW 7103. my spouse thinks its too white. We have tile woodlook light cream to beige.
Robin, here are color suggestion for lighter off white/beige colors that should work with your white elements and flooring to help create a lighter, brighter, cohesive coordinated palette for your open plan space. Shoji White SW 7042
Incredible White SW 7028
Aesthetic White SW 7035
City Loft SW 7631
We recommend obtaining the color chips and viewing them in your space and lighting situation. This will assist you in making the best color decision to complete the color story for your space.
Love the ideas listed above! However I am torn and can’t figure out what to do. I have natural cherry cabinets made by Rutt that are about 40 years old and need a “pick me up”. I have added crown moldings to them and am in need of some paint ideas. We have a Tudor home. My counter tops are Blue Marinace granite. My floors are currently grey porcelain with lots of shading. I am planning to replace them with a wood look luxury vinyl or laminate. My problem is trying to find the right colors to match the countertops. I was thinking of two-tone, perhaps alpaca or steamed milk on the top and urbane bronze on the bottom but absolutely love the idea of a dark green (something like Joanna Gaines color Cottage Grove which is a dark green! I need HELP! LOL My walls are Grecian Gray with the adjacent breakfast area painted in Mountain Road and the family room in venitian plaster with faux paint in a light mustard color. Any suggestions as to what I should do? Also, should the cabinets be semi-gloss, egg shell or satin? Any suggestions would be deeply appreciated! Thank you!
Hi Adrian! For a project like this, you would be best served by a free one-on-one half hour consult. You can book that on our site through this link: https://www.sherwinwilliams.com/homeowners/color/lead-cs
I need help because I’m changing my 32-year-old white kitchen cabinets with new cabinets and I want to use a gray. I have tried so many and I liked windchill but then I read that it has green tones and I’m really looking for a gray in the same hue but that has blue tones. Can you recommend a couple for me to look up?
Hello Mary Ann, check out the grays listed below, they all have a subtle blue undertone. Look at:
Silver Tipped Sage SW 9642
Olympus White wSW6253
Big Chill SW 7648
I am embarking on a new build. It is a 2 bedroom cottage. I am leaning toward Accessible Beige as the main wall color in the kitchen / greatroom. I was also thinking of a dark blue island and pantry that will be perpendicular to the island. Looking at these pictures I am wondering about what colors for the other cabinets. The builder has certain brands of cabinets and I am not sure about exact colors. Would blue lowers and a shade of white uppers look good? Or can you give me any other ideas to go with the Accessible Beige and blue theme?
