Tarnished Trumpet

SW 9026

Home gym with equipment, plants and a meditation area with accent wall painted a golden hue: Tarnished Trumpet SW 9026.

Make time for yourself with a wellness oasis dressed in a golden hue.

Wellness doesn’t end after you’ve completed a set or closed your rings. It’s a journey for the body, mind and soul. A golden shade like Tarnished Trumpet creates an optimistic backdrop whether you’re awake with the sun for yoga or finding some much-needed time for meditation. The energy it brings is about finding balance and growth in a space where me-time is always a necessity.

Style Influences

Like rays of sunshine or the scent of a forest, nature has a powerful impact on our physical and mental well-being. That’s why a wellness oasis wouldn’t be complete without inviting the outdoors inside. Adding an abundance of greenery and earthy neutrals can give your room a strong connection to the natural world around us, especially when it’s tied together with a sunny burst of yellow.

  1. How great to see a warm color like Tarnished Trumpet. I am so tired of seeing home interiors painted with greys, whites and black.

Hi Jenny! You are charged when you pick up the paint so unfortunately the sale would not apply. Our next sale is Feb 12th. Click here for more information about sales and coupons.

  3. I love this color! This summer I had a new Mid-Century Modern front door installed. I chose Tarnished Trumpet as the color to have it painted. I love it! It looks great against the color of my home, which is another Sherwin Williams color – a dark gray – whose name escapes me right now. Anyway, I’ve gotten a lot of compliments on the Tarnished Trumpet and one of my neighbors asked me for the color because she thinks she’d like to paint her front door that color too. Awesome! Love your paints!

  4. I love this color, Tarnished Trumpet, and its coordinating colors, Rosemary, Blustery Sky, Alabaster and Natural Tan. Why do you only show the coordinating neutrals when you show a color in your online charts?
Because the main windows in my home face north, my home is very dark, and I need to choose much lighter shades in order to get the colors I want. Two wall colors that worked well for me from Sherwin Williams are Sea Salt (Main Bathroom) and Rainwashed (Master Bedroom). Which five colors coordinate with each of these two shades? Now I am selecting colors for my Main Hall/Entranceway/Living Room and for my Kitchen/Family Room. Please send any suggestions.
    Thank you, Kathleen

  6. Looking for a paint that I saw on TV . Pest Control was applying this paint to the base perimeter of a house , to prevent scorpions climbing up a house .
They showed a scorpion inside a glass , and the scorpion could not get traction . The paint had the same effect .
